Recently I started managing a Twitter account that was not my own and I played with scheduling tweets. However, I really felt it went against the grain of Twitter. Twitter is all about interacting and engagement, so if I scheduled a tweet then I wouldn’t be around to respond to anyone. In a way it felt as if they were wasted tweets and they were just going out in the ether. Twitter works best in real time.
On a side note, I think there may have been a connection between this account being hacked and using these apps. However, this could have been coincidental.
Do you think we should schedule tweets? I came across this video that says there are times when it is okay? What do you think?
